Gundam Thoughts

As the September Gundam Fiesta is nearing,
which i wouldnt be going, cuz of some commitments,
I've heard about BAKUC competition for this year is
up, the submission dateline is 3rd November. This time
round, I'm gunna take this weekend to browse through
ALL the gundam 00 animes (especially the season 2
ones) and try to think of what to make, but in my mind,
I roughly had a rough idea of what I'm going to be displaying.

Shopping Spree part 2

This is my another shopping spree... As you
can see, theres 3 bases. One wooden round
base, a gundam stand base for 1/144, and a
display case for another display.

A New Upcoming Project

After re-watching Gundam Seed's Episode 30 (just a sudden urge),
I've been inspired to re-model my Aile Strike and Aegis. If you can
remember, in Episode 30, Kira's SEED and Athrun's "late" SEED
were activated cuz both their closest friends were killed by vice versa.

And because of that anger from each side, best friends turn against
each other and killing and eliminate as a form of revenge is what they
have in mind, to kill each other. The "blood" battle between Kira's Strike
and Athrun's Aegis was an epic one, thus I'm inspired to now go back,
set up my workstation and do a re-work on my new project.

The idea is this, here goes. I'm going to repaint Aegis (from a very long ago
post...) into grey/white (phase shift down) mode, and then model it to
flight mode, grab/cling onto the strike, and create that diorama for it. I'm
pretty sure this is a major work and I hope to complete within the next
2 weeks or so... I hope any readers who reads this post will look forward
the final work I'm gunna exhibit. :) Cheers!

Another Gundam Shopping Trip

Yesterday's Gundam shopping... The long
awaited Gundam Exia Ignition mode!! Total
damage is about $222 (nice number) from
HAG.

To come to think about it, Bandais' recent release
of MGs are all named "modes", like exaple,
Strike Freedom Full Burst MODE, Destiny
Extreme Burst MODE. And now its Exia
Ignition MODE, lol I think I have collected
all the "modes" so far :P
